Abstract:
The case, Millennials in the US Military: Will they stay and fight too? discusses the challenges of the US Army whose recruitment needs runs into several thousand every year. It has to recruit the millennials now, who are infamous for their tendency to job-hop and are also tagged as narcissistic, attention seeking, and impatient. The case juxtaposes the almost opposite personalities of the US Army and millennials and touches upon the recruitment and retention challenges of the US Army. The case ends enumerating the challenges of the US Army in trying to adapt to the millennial soldiers and highlighting the efforts needed in doing so.
